RECAP: Connecticunt Discoteca
HOT, STEAMY AND TIGHTLY PACKED LIKE A GOOD GRINDER DOUBLE STACKED!
The Connecticunt Discoteca Cunt and its turn-up turnout was an event to behold.
Held at Diesel Lounge in New Haven I have never seen a dance music event as tightly packed with that powerful of a pulse going from start to finish. The DJs kept the vibes and sounds spinning playing music that got the dance floor grooving and the heart rate high. Looking around you could see everyone from back to front of the venue enjoying drinks, dance, and each other. Never seen so many smiles drenched in sweat.
As the night rounded, drinks were had friends and connections were made. All though music that asks you to move your body and damn if we all did. Connecticunt Discoteca gets my recommendation and respect for bringing love and music to a venue and scene that is in desperate need of a fire under its ass. All this alongside a good vision of how dance music events should be had ( and they did it all with no cover which is extra points in my book.)
The Connecticunt as a whole will be one of those companies that change the landscape of CT while staying true to themselves. I can feel it like I felt the music move me alongside people who were doing much of the same.
I can’t wait for the next one and here’s to house music all life long.
