ÁNGEL LOOR AT THE STATE HOUSE

A POWERHOUSE BEHIND THE MIC AND A PERSONALITY BEHIND THE MUSIC.

Ángel Loor played the State House in New Haven for one of the venue's last shows and gave it a blessed send-off. The recap above covers what is most important about Ángel Loor as a band and person in my eyes. That being: how much their sound and presence have matured. From the start of my listening to their sound, I have noticed how they’ve come into their own and reigned in how they use their energy and time on stage. This show at the State House might be a turning point for them, and I’m happy to have been there. They seem to be on the path to long-lasting greatness, not just Tiktok Trending, and I’m overjoyed to see them walking that path to the beat of their drum.
