Our next BTS feature shines a spotlight on Hartford-born, Windsor-raised photographer, socialite, and style icon: Jadore Joshy. Known as much for their creative eye behind the lens as for their unmistakable fashion sense, Joshy’s journey to personal style had its peaks and valleys —but it’s always been intentional.
Growing up attending private school, Joshy didn’t have many spaces to explore self-expression. “There weren’t a lot of outlets for individuality,” they reflect. By the time high school came around, finding their lane style-wise came with some trial and error—navigating the eras of Hollister, Abercrombie & Fitch, and the rise of athleisure. But through that murky middle came clarity.
Over time, Joshy developed what close friends now call the "Joshy Bot" look—a signature blend of monochromatic tones, oversized silhouettes, and subtle nods to Y2K nostalgia and grunge. Their fits carry a sense of ease and precision, with each piece chosen with care.
One thing’s for sure: accessories are non-negotiable. From vibrant hand bags to shaded frames, Joshy knows a look isn’t complete without the right final touch. The sunglasses, especially, are a must. “We’re baseing the fit off of these glasses…” is a go to montra of theirs.
