Steven Reyes has a resume real enough for two millenniums.

A multi-hyphenate creative, Stevie spent his twenties touring the United States as a tour DJ with Sirah and Icono Pop. Under the moniker Jigz the Flyer, he released multiple hit projects, including 2014’s Opium Fields, which drew the eye of HotNewHipHop’s On The Come Up series. As a producer — under the alias Jiggy Hendrix — he served up soundscapes to some of hip hop's heavyweights, garnering credits from Rick Ross, Starlito and the late Nipsey Hussle.

“A lot of shit inspires me … I feel like I’ve experienced a lot of shit. I try to channel it through music, art and visuals.”

Shortly after his rise, he co-founded the creative agency FREEWIFI USA with frequent collaborator Xavier Aviles, specializing in visual and video content which culminated in their hugely successful annual event WIFI & Friends. For his efforts, Reyes was the recipient of the NAACP Image Award in 2015, honoring community members who excelled in the arts.

To call STEVIEWORLD a proven veteran would be an understatement. But he’s far from an elder statesman. When speaking about his passions and inspirations, his enthusiasm jumps off the screen like an unprescribed ADHD child in a Sugarfina. During our visit, we talked about music, his countless life experiences and how he channels his fluctuating moods into his art.
