Spotlight: Feel Better Now-An Exhibition by Bizzie Ruth

I had the chance to meet with Bizzie Ruth a local artist, photographer, and entrepreneur. We were on location to shoot photographs for her works in her new gallery show hosted at The Campus at 12 Charter Oak Place in Hartford.

The show is called Feel Better Now: The Art of Feeling Good. It is her first curated group show with other local 860 and 203 artists.

The show focuses on the intricate paths artists take toward healing and how healing helps their work. Bizzie wanted to highlight that story of healing. The vision was to allow these artists to have a chance to tell their story fully through their work. Most importantly show their work that highlights the person not just a purpose to get paid.

Bizzie titled the show: Feel Better Now: The Art of Feeling Good because, she says, it’s about better understanding and utilizing your feelings to get to a place of betterment; an acknowledgment of the journey that made us the people and artists that we are today.

Opening night is November 1st at 6 pm. Make sure to go visit and support Bizzie as well as the other artists in the show to support local artists and I hope the work and people make you Feel Better Now.
