To wrap up this “take over” we wanted to introduce our final member of our editorial team, Bizzie Ruth!
Bizzie Ruth, formally known as, Madyson Frame, is a young multifaceted blk femme artist from Hartford, Connecticut. She began her artistry as a spoken word poet at the age of 13 performing at countless events. As she entered her last two years of high school she found a love for digital art in the forms of filmmaking and photography as a means of taking her poetry and putting imagery to it. Bizzie has since curated her first gallery titled, “A BLK WRLD” in November of 2020 where she exhibited photographs along with poetry detailing the beauty of blk love, blk art and blk kulture. Bizzie is also the Founder and Director of a new art curation company by the name of The Photobooth, LLC.

What is your seat at the table?
My seat at the table is to shine a spotlight on the amazing creativity that I see happening on a daily basis within my community and amongst my people.
How do you feed your community?
I feed my community through providing spaces and opportunities for creatives to connect and collaborate with one another. Coming from a city with little to no resources for artists, it’s always been important to me to ensure that people have spaces to be themselves and create. I aim to ensure that spaces for creation exist in abundance and are accessible to everyone.
