“MORE THAN A REST STOP” Flagship Campaign
“PERHAPS THE REST STOP AND THE LANDMARK CAN BE ONE AND THE SAME.”
— JOSHUA JENKINS
Almost half a year and The Caf is still serving some of the best The Connecticut Region’s has to offer. It has been gaining speed non-stop, yet still holds its roots of being a rest stop but as we all have discovered over the course of our journey, so much more.
The Caf has become a place to gather, commune, and grow community. From events that showcase new talent, to hosting clothing and wares from artists in the region who want a spot to put up shop. Opening its doors to all walks and ways of life and opening doors to all who come to rest at a stop in their journey.
All of this is happening in a state that is steadily pushing out of the concrete of surrounding cityscapes to once again make a name for itself.
The Caf is not only a rest stop on the journey of Connecticut but a milestone as well. The Caf shows that we too in Connecticut can follow the vision in our hearts by putting up a shop that’s so much more than clothes and collectibles; a store that is showing to be the glue that keeps the creative and inspired, creative and inspired together. All under the high-rise noses of insurances and banking corporations that could care less about what’s in your heart and more about what’s in your wallet.
Well for the likes of myself and so many others it’s not only refreshing but inspiring to see
the bold continue to be bold no matter what they are told.
To have a place that is more than another cookie-cutter corporation that pretends to care.
To have a place where we can rest, relax and feel at home.
And to have it in a state that so many of us call home.
The Caf has proven to be a rest stop for those in need.
But it’s the caring community around it that has proven to make it so much more.
The Caf marks half a year soon.
So here’s to many more.
