BIZZIE: How do you feel now with the outcome of S&SCon ‘23? Is it everything you imagined?
ANGEL: I am so grateful for how S&SCon '23 turned out - it was everything I had imagined and more! After a year of planning, it was amazing to see all of my hard work come to life. Hearing feedback from attendees and collaborators alike was humbling and made me feel so appreciative. To have had an idea and see it brought to life in such a beautiful way was truly fulfilling, and I feel so lucky to have been able to experience it.
BIZZIE: What was your biggest take away/favorite moment from the event?
ANGEL: The biggest thing I took away was how much the workshops helped people. We had four workshops in total - Business entity establishment, Branding & marketing, Web design, and Fiscal sponsor & grant writing. I put a lot of thought into selecting the right workshops because I wanted them to be truly valuable for attendees. I just asked myself, 'what did I wish I knew when I was starting my own business?' and went from there. It was amazing to hear from everyone how much they needed each workshop.
